OLD FAVE: VICTORIA'S SECRET DREAM ANGELS HEAVENLY
Andrea Lavinthal, Style Director: What was to Destiny’s Child, Heavenly was to the Dream Angels fragrance collection when it first launched in 1999: a spotlight-stealing star. It’s light enough to wear during the day, but date night is when Heavenly does its best work, since guys go crazy for the warm blend of white musk, sandalwood, vanilla and peony.

NEW FAVE: PRADA CANDY
Andrea: My vanity is decorated with bottles of perfume that look super-chic but smell kind of awful. Prada is the rare exception since the scent is just as lovely as the pink-and-gold flanker. The combo of vanilla, caramel and musk is sweet yet sophisticated, and it lasts for hours.

OLD FAVE: VIKTOR & ROIF FLOWERBOMB
Alissa Rosenhaft, Photo Editor: I started wearing this perfume in 2006 when I received a sample in a gift bag. I was hesitant to wear a floral scent for fear of smelling grandma-ish, but it was love at first spritz. It’s a little bit sweet, a little bit spicy and flowery, but with some edge.

NEW FAVE: LOLITA LEMPICKA
Alissa: This has been around for a while, but I just discovered it – and totally by accident. I was walking through a department store on my way to replenish my stash of Flowerbomb when an aggressive saleswoman insisted that I try it. I’m glad she did because I’m now hooked on the unique notes of licorice and vanilla.

OLD FAVE: JUARA CANDLENUT PERFUME OIL
Catherine Dash, Merchandise Editor: The subtle scent makes me think of what waking up in a five-star hotel in Bali would smell like – a bit floral, a bit green and a bit tropical. And since it comes in a portable rollerball, I can take it with me everywhere (and reach for it whenever I need to “escape” chilly New York City).

NEW FAVE: CHLOé LOVE, CHLOé EAU DE PARFUM
Catherine: The coolest thing about this scent is that it smells a little bit different on everyone who wears it so it’s sort of like having your own custom perfume. But on everyone it’s sweet and totally sexy (thanks to the combination of orange blossom, pink pepper and powdery musks), just like the packaging.

OLD FAVE: L'EAU D'ISSEY
Zoë Ruderman, Senior Style Editor: I can’t even imagine how many bottles of this stuff I’ve gone through in the past decade. Of course, that may have something to do with the fact that I don’t just use L’Eau d’Issey as perfume, but also on my sheets, in my suitcase after traveling and occasionally as a room freshener. The mix of floral, woodsy and musky and the not-at-all-overwhelming scent make it the perfect all-purpose product, in my opinion.

NEW FAVE: OSCAR DE LA RENTA GRANADA
Zoë: Confession: This first caught my eye because the bottle matches the sea glass color scheme in my bathroom. But I fell for it because of the jasmine, bitter orange and rose. It’s really exotic smelling so I think I’ll make it my go-to vacation perfume.

OLD FAVE: JO MALONE LONDON VANILLA & ANISE COLOGNE
Jennifer Cress, Contributor: I wasn’t a big fan of sweet scents until I found this one. But now, I switch to it whenever temperatures start to drop. Something about the creamy vanilla base blended with white floral notes is perfect for fall and winter. And a little goes a long way so the bottle lasts forever.

NEW FAVE: DIPTYQUE EAU ROSE
Jennifer: The past few times I put this on, someone stopped me and asked, “What are you wearing?” They’re always a bit surprised to hear it’s a really uncomplicated fragrance (it has nothing but notes of rose), but I think it’s the perfume’s simplicity and freshness that make it so special.”

OLD FAVE: MISS DIOR
Whitney Little, Associate Producer: I’m a creature of habit, so when I find a fragrance I really like I wear it every day, for every occasion. This has been my go-to scent for years now. Although the formula changed just a bit and the product has been renamed (formerly Miss Dior Chérie), I’m still a loyal fan.

NEW FAVE: BOYFRIEND BY KATE WALSH
Whitney: I discovered this over the summer, but I think the cold weather has given me a new appreciation for this fragrance, which brings to mind thoughts of cuddling up with my boyfriend. I like that it has a bit of a masculine scent, but not so much that others will wonder if you’re wearing men’s cologne. And it gives off a warmth that you don’t find in the floral fragrances.

OLD FAVE: MARC JACOBS LOLA
Alex Apatoff, Associate Editor: When I finally retired my old high school standby, I wanted something grown-up but still flirty that I could wear every day. This perfume met the criteria, plus got the rare stamp of approval from my fragrance-hating husband, who actually requested that I wear it at our wedding.

NEW FAVE: FLORA BY GUCCI GLORIOUS MANDARIN
Alex: I’ve been using this whenever I need a pick-me-up (my outfit isn’t working, it’s gloomy outside, it’s Monday you get the idea). It’s fresh and light and and makes me feel much better about whatever has me down. I love having a scent just for mood-boosting, plus it’s way better than eating a bar of chocolate, right?

OLD FAVE: DKNY BE DELICIOUS GOLDEN
Kate Hogan, Style News Editor: I rarely leave the house without applying two spritzes of this yummy fragrance, which works in all seasons. For those worried about the apple smell, fear not: Notes of white rose and Casablanca lily balance the fruitiness well.

NEW FAVE: DIOR J'ADORE EAU DE PARFUM
Kate: The only time I cheat on Be Delicious is date night. This one is sexy (it has notes of rose, plum and orchid), but not too strong (read: your guy can get close without feeling like he’s walking past the perfume counter at a department store). I usually put it on right out of the shower, then add a little to my hair before I head out the door and pretend I’m Charlize Theron.
