Though Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour has been poking fun at her legendarily icy reputation (see: her hilarious ice bucket challenge), we’re pretty sure that she still gets her way more often than not (this “73 Questions” Vogue video gives us a clue to how tightly the office is run). We’d heard rumors that she’ll stop staffers to tell them to get a haircut, and thanks to tennis pro Caroline Wozniacki, we’re thinking the rumors may just be true.
“Loving my new haircut! Thank you Anna Wintour for telling me I need one and setting it up for me 😍,” Wozniacki, this year’s US Open women’s singles runner-up, captioned the below photo, showing a sleek new blowout a few inches shorter than the look she was sporting next to Wintour in the Michael Kors front row (above).
Even more impressive than the hair change? How quickly Wintour made it happen. The Michael Kors show took place at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning; Wozniacki posted her newly-cropped selfie to Instagram later that night. We’re guessing top hairstylists don’t often say “no” to Wintour, either. (And considering that Wintour’s a huge tennis fan — just check out her 73 Questions video to see how huge! — we’re pretty sure that her instructions to Wozniacki were taken in good fun.)
What do you think of Wozniacki’s cut? Loving the inspiration?
