It’s been a big week for celebrity engagements. Let’s recap: Wonder Years alum Danica McKellar and lawyer Scott Sveslosky, Two and a Half Men actress Aly Michalka and director Stephen Ringer and actor Jeff Goldblum and long-term girlfriend Emilie Livingston all announced their big news in the past 48 hours, and of course, the proud brides-to-be shared their beautiful — and non-traditional — rings on social media. Now, it’s time to take a closer look.

McKellar, 39, showed off her vintage-looking sparkler (see photo above), which appears to be a square-cut diamond in a silver or platinum diamond setting. And judging by her smile, she was pretty thrilled about her fiancé’s choice.
Goldbulm, 61, and Livingston, 31, selected her unique ring together, and it’s very different than the ginormous diamonds we’re used to seeing on celebrities. It appears to be round-cut stone surrounded by a halo of gold on a diamond band. The ring’s simplicity and intricate details are refreshing, and you can tell the couple put a lot of time and effort into choosing the perfect ring.
And lastly Michalka, 25, first teased fans with a photo of the ring from afar — and has since posted a close-up of the sparkly band. The square-cut diamond is also surrounded by a vintage-inspired filigree setting. It seems to perfectly suit her easy-going style.
