Just in time for fall shopping, our friends at the trend-obsessed StyleWatch magazine are giving you an easy way to shop all the season’s top looks, teaming up with accessories brand Charming Charlie to launch a capsule of stylish add-ons. And — gasp! — each and every piece is under $40.
“Because of the amazing price point of the pieces in the collection, shoppers can feel guilt-free about experimenting with a trend they may find intimidating, without breaking the bank,” StyleWatch’s Fashion Director, Erin Sumwalt, tells PeopleStyle. So, if your mind’s on a studded tote, they got it. How about a leopard wallet on a chain? Sure thing! A fringed pendant necklace? Uh huh. Stackable, chunky enamel bracelets? Wedge booties? A color-block tote bag? Yes, yes and yes.
To create the collection, editors from StyleWatch traveled to Charming Charlie’s headquarters in Houston, Texas to work side-by-side with the accessory company’s creative team. “Keeping in mind our reader and their customer, we set to work reviewing possible shapes, materials and color combinations for the pieces,” says Sumwalt. “We worked together on the specific details of each piece we wanted to include in the first group of our collaboration. By the end of the day, we had worked together to create our first collection, and celebrated with some down-home Texas barbecue.”
The result is a lineup of shoes, jewelry and bags in a seasonal palette of red, black, white, tan and gold. “We all felt that this was the perfect transitional color palette from summer into fall,” adds Sumwalt. “We liked the idea of combining classic, versatile shapes with unexpected touches like leopard print, color-blocking and metal studding. These pieces play well with all the fall trends and are the perfect complement to what so many women already have in their wardrobes.”
See a preview of the line below, which drops today in stores and online. Plus, keep your eyes peeled for more: StyleWatch plans to release two more more collections (one in October and one in November) with Charming Charlie.
