Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2016: Sizzling Sneak Peeks of Gigi Hadid, Chrissy Teigen and More

Updated

This was a groundbreaking weekend for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, which debuted not one but three new faces (and bods) on their cover this weekend: Ashley Graham, Ronda Rousey and Hailey Clauson. But there are plenty of old favorites baring most in the magazine, which hits stands Tuesday — and surprising no one, they all brought the heat this year as well.

First up, Chrissy Teigen, who landed her first cover in 2014. She’s currently all about her baby bump, but her Sports Illustrated swimsuit shot has her looking, well, pretty much exactly as she did last year when she was up on a huge billboard.

So excited to announce my 7th appearance in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition – I had to count that a million times before I believed it! My @si_swimsuit family, I love you! There is nothing like being a part of this brand and this issue. My shoot was in beautiful Zanzibar and shot by the incomparable @ruvenafanador, who is just as wonderful, kind, serene and lovely as everyone has ever told me. He thinks about every little aspect of a photo, every detail. HMU by @peterbutlerhair and @joannegair I LOVE you and am so lucky you allow me to be in your chairs! @mj_day and @darciebaum and @ja_neyney @hillarydrezner and @karencarpk – you are my family. I am proud to be in the issue but SO proud of all the work you guys put into this every single year. I just love you all. Jesus this is dramatic I know! And to all my fellow @si_swimsuit girls, congrats on a beautiful issue!!! I will see you this week in MIAMI!!!! I can't wait to kiss all your beautiful faces!

Gigi Hadid is a relative rookie, but her expertise far exceeds her experience, as seen in these super-sassy shots that show her modeling both underboob-heavy one-pieces with a Lana Jewelry body chain and iridescent bikinis with ease.

Irina Shayk returned for her 10th year in the issue, this year challenging herself by swimming in shark-infested waters off the coast of Bora Bora. “Today I woke up and I was like, ‘Wow, this is my 10th year!’ It’s kind of amazing,” she told WWD. “I feel like I grew up with them — they hired me back in 2007 and I didn’t really speak English back then. Not that long ago I went on YouTube and I was looking at my videos, like 2007 videos I did for Sports Illustrated, and it was hilarious. I was like, ‘Is this me?'”

And finally, Robyn Lawley, who broke barriers last year as the first “model beyond a size 10” (as she calls herself) to get a full page in the issue, returns this year for another gorgeous set of shots. Even more impressive? She posed just six months after having daughter Ripley!

“It’s pretty badass because not only have we got a female fighter and a beautiful blonde, we’ve also got a curvy girl,” Lawley told PEOPLE of this year’s covergirls. “Beauty always come in different sizes and it always will.”
