Showing up to a party wearing the same dress as someone else is one thing. But when you’re Rita Ora and you show up to the Atelier Versace fashion show in Paris wearing the exact same skin-baring ensembles as one of the biggest supermodels in the world, Joan Smalls, it’s a whole different catwalk, so to speak.

On Sunday, Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week kicked things off with the always skin-heavy Versace show. The night brought out a number of huge stars both on and off the catwalk, including Alexander Wang, Gigi Hadid (cheered on by former stepdad David Foster) and Rita Ora, who gave a masterclass in how not to indecently expose yourself while wearing this barely-there dress from the designer’s latest collection. The neon orange look is more cutouts than material, with various asymmetrical pieces of fabric woven together and held on the body thanks to a few crucial interwoven ropes, finished off with heels to match.

And yes, you are seeing double because a mere few minutes later that same bungee-cord, body-clinging dress (right down to the matching shoes) came down the Parisian runway worn by Joan Smalls. It just makes sense Ora is so on-trend she’s wearing looks that no one’s even had a chance to see yet. Hopefully, Donatella Versace was kind enough to provide each lady with a different, much more danceable ensemble for the after-party.
What do you think of Rita Ora’s haute couture look? Who do you think wore it better? Would you wear this look?
