Nicole Kidman Wore a Flapper Dress to Prom, Loves Black Tights and More Stylish Things We Just Learned from Her Vogue Interview

The Aussie beauty, 48, is the epitome of style as she graces the magazine’s August cover, showing off her flawless porcelain skin while wearing a backless sequin Marc Jacobs dress with side-swept hair.

In the interview, The Queen of the Desert actress discusses her relationship with husband Keith Urban — who she married in 2006.

“I wish I could have met him much earlier and had way more children with him,” Kidman tells Vogue.

While she wishes they could have met sooner, the actress surprisingly reveals that she wasn’t a fan of Urban’s music early on.

“I didn’t know him so I couldn’t really be a fan, but now, I’m his biggest fan,” Kidman says and these days she can’t get enough of her man.

During an outing with Urban and some friends Kidman tells the magazine, “I looked up at him at one point and I saw his tattoos and his foot going, and he had the guitar, and I was like, ‘God, I love that man. I’m so glad I’m in this world.'”

Now married with two daughters — Sunday Rose, 7, and Faith, 4 — Kidman opens up her family’s Australian farm for a new round of Vogue‘s 73 questions. And she pretty much looks like a glamorous modern-day Grace Kelly frolicking around her gorgeous estate. Kidman dons a white flowy bohemian-inspired dress with lace details as she responds to the magazine’s fast-firing questions.

With a busy acting schedule and keeping up with two little ones, Kidman reveals the best way to decompress is to “make love.”

The stylish mom also divulges her favorite fashion trend ever is “black tights,” plus, cites texting as a trend she wishes would die and shares what she wore to her prom.

“It’s not called a prom here [Australia], it’s called a formal, and I wore vintage black flapper dress,” she shares.

And when it came time to answer the age-old question of diamonds or pearls, Kidman responds, “Well, diamonds are a girl’s best friend” — and we couldn’t agree more.
