Updated

We know right about now you want to retire your winter boots forever and ever and turn over your closets for spring, but shoe brand AGL just revealed their new campaign — starring Maggie Gyllenhaal! — that are too good to wait to see until fall. Find out all about the actress’s modeling gig, plus the latest news from J.Crew, Timberland and Lionette by Noa Sade below!

Gyllenhaal fronts AGL‘s Fall 2016 campaign, modeling embroidered floral-print booties and thigh-highs in the moody black and white images shot by Bryan Adams. Yes, that Bryan Adams who sings your favorite hits, “Summer of ’69” and “(Everything I Do) I Do It for You.” (He’s actually a seasoned photographer now, who has shot major ad campaigns including Priyanka Chopra for Guess in 2013!)

AGL’s Creative Director, Vera Giusti, explains that the collab marks “a new image of the brand expressing elegance and refined luxury through the aesthetic sensibility of Bryan Adams and the intense femininity of Maggie Gyllenhaal, a self-confident woman able to show all her inner and outer beauty.”

If you can’t wait for fall boot season for new accessories, J.Crew has just the thing to hold you over with their cool-for-the-summer Gingham Shop. The brand is quick to point out that they promise not make you look like a giant picnic basket. And that’s really thanks to the way they incorporate the upbeat print in not-so-sweet pieces, like a moto jacket, masculine suits (seen on Liya Kebede, above) and sporty rash guards. But of course there’s also some perfectly preppy pieces available too (as Carolyn Murphy models with her bucket hat and bow-adorned flats!)

Next up is a fun new collection from your favorite blog, Sincerely, Jules. The star teamed up with jewelry company Lionette by Noa Sade for a five piece capsule collection inspired by Julie Sarinana’s “effortless California style.” The collection includes a statement necklace, drop necklace, earrings, anklet and pinky ring (ranging from $135 to $698). Designer Noa Sade raved about the partnership: “[Julie] was so involved and I loved her directions. She really knew what she wanted.”

And finally, there’s another cool collaboration brewing in the accessories world, and you can be a part of it. Timberland is asking their biggest fans for a little help in designing the new Craftletic collection. Everyone’s encouraged to vote for one of three unisex trend concepts they like best. There’s the monochromatic “Urbanization” pair, “Modern Nomad” with a high-meets-low design and “Neorganic” which is inspired by nature.

Timberland Consumer-Designed Footwear

A prototype of the winning style will be announced on the site in May, where consumers will bid on the shoe to determine if it has enough demand to go into production. If it makes it, Timberland fans will have first dibs on purchasing the pair.
