Ever wondered what it would be like to walk a mile in the Duchess of Cambridge‘s shoes? Here’s your chance.
Stuart Weitzman has just launched the SW x You: Corkswoon program, which gives royal footwear fans the chance to customize the wedges that Kate made famous.
For $398, customers can choose from a palette of 15 different colors, which includes everything from basic brown to bright shades like geranium and lemon yellow, and decide between a cork or braided jute heel to create their own signature pair (“Copy Kates” can recreate the Duchess’ exact navy-and-cork style) which the company promises will be handcrafted in Spain and delivered to you by the end of July.
Though a press release confirms that the “Corkswoon” campaign is a “direct response to the ‘Kate Effect,'” [in which Duchess-loved apparel sells out the moment she wears it] it’s not the first time Stuart Weitzman has offered shoppers the chance to customize their footwear.
Last February, the brand’s celeb-favorite “Nudist” sandal was made available in several combinations of color, material and heel height.
The Corkswoon started flying off the shelves when Kate wore them during the 2012 Olympics in London. Since then, she’s been spotted in them everywhere from a canoe trip in the Solomon Islands, to a volleyball match in the U.K. and on several stops on the recent Royal Tour of New Zealand and Australia. The wedge has hit sold-out status in the past, but Stuart Weitzman is now quick to replenish their inventory. Still, if you’re looking for your own perfect pair, take note: The SW x You: Corkswoon customization option is only available for the next two weeks.
