Lori Loughlin Wears the Olsen Twins' Clothing Lines - But There's No Tanner Family Discount!

Updated

Lori Loughlin stepped out to honor her “extremely talented” Fuller House co-star (and onscreen husband) John Stamos at the TV Land Icon Awards on Sunday night in Santa Monica, California — but he’s not the only TV family member Loughlin paid tribute to that night.

While Loughlin always looks stunning on the red carpet, the blush-toned strapless Elizabeth and James dress she donned for the celebration held a more personal meaning for the actress. “How appropriate? I’m here giving John Stamos the Icon Award in an Elizabeth and James dress,” Loughlin told PEOPLE. “We have come full circle!”

Elizabeth and James just happens to be the women’s contemporary line that was started by Loughlin’s Full House co-stars Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in 2007. When asked if she wears the brand a lot, Loughlin, 51, immediately replied, “I do, yes.”

But just because she happens to have known the designers since they were in diapers, doesn’t mean Loughlin’s looking for any special treatment. “Never,” she said of being gifted freebies. “I’ve never asked. I never would. Went to the store and bought it!”

The Olsens’ fashion design career also kept them away from the most recent cast reunion on Netflix, a fact winked to by the characters on the show.

Do you love that she’s a fan of the brand?
