Move over Brad Pitt, here comes Leonard DiCaprio. Leo is set to take on the role as TAG Heuer Global Ambassador — a position that Pitt has occupied for six years. But unlike most ad campaigns, this one is all about doing good. According to Tag Heuer, the royalties generated from the three-year agreement (as well as a multi-million dollar commitment from Leonardo himself) will go to support major environment initiatives. “TAG Heuer is a strong brand with a proven commitment to doing good,” said DiCaprio. “It is a great day when a company as respected as TAG Heuer explores a different way to business — selling products and giving back at the same time.” But we’ll all benefit from the star’s generosity — Leo will be featured in the brand’s ad campaigns starting this spring, wearing the Carrera Day-Date watch.
