Kirsten Dunst Is Having a Major Style Moment: Let's Discuss

Updated

Despite recently blaming her man for causing her to gain what is affectionately known around here as “the boyfriend layer,” we think the look of love is really working for the The Two Faces of January star. She’s been stepping out to events all over NYC, and we’ve got to say, her style streak has been both unprecedented and seriously on-point.

First, she lightened her locks to a very glam platinum hue. Now she’s flaunting fierce black and white looks (hugely on-trend for fall) all over the city and giving us a little style inspiration while she’s at it. First and foremost, we’re obsessed with that gorgeous, straight-off-the-runway Chanel Couture number she wore to the film’s NYC premiere. It’s proof that white is totally wearable post-Labor Day, especially when paired with minimal, metallic accessories.

Have a dressed-up date night coming soon? Her long-sleeved LBD, black pumps and that black Ferragamo bag she’s been rocking a lot lately (someone is an I Really Love My… contender) is so easy to throw together, but looks seriously chic when paired with a blowout and poppy lip hue. P.S. Kirsten, we love you in a red lip!

For work outfit inspo, look no further than her impeccable white blouse and high-waisted skirt (it’s total #girlboss) — and on casual Friday, we love the idea of a tailored blazer (hers is Max Mara) over a button down and skinnies. The dark denim makes it still polished enough for the office.

Heading to brunch on the weekend? Repurpose that structured blazer and skinny jeans but swap out the button down for a breezy tee and add some statement sunnies.

Will you be taking ideas from Kirsten’s new, improved style? Are you loving her lightened strands and bold lip color? Tell us what you think!
