She’s already got a tiara and a title, but we’re giving The Duchess of Cambridge another crown and royal designation: The Queen of “I Really Love My.” Yes, she must have multiple closets teeming with gowns and accessories, but Kate has proven she loves to get a lot of wear out of her wardrobe. This week, however, she may have set her own personal rewear record, pulling out a gorgeous gown from her closet for the third time — just days after wearing another of our favorite gowns for the second time on the red carpet.
She followed up her ivory Roland Mouret rewear with a third viewing of a familiar lace Temperley London dress to the Natural History Museum Alive screening in London Wednesday. From her glossy blowout to her polished makeup, you might think you were looking at three of the same photos, save for the subtle tweaks in her choice of accessories.
At yesterday’s screening, she played up the look with jewelry, adding a diamond necklace, drop earrings and a bracelet. In Nov. 2012, Kate added a pop of color to the design with a bright-red clutch for a dinner at her alma mater, the University of St Andrews. And when she first debuted the gown almost two years ago at the War Horse U.K. premiere, she added a black velvet clutch to match the waistband. Like we said, subtle tweaks.
