If Julianne Moore‘s Oscars gown gave you an immediate case of style déjà vu, we can tell you why. A similar version of gown first hit the Chanel Haute Couture catwalk during Paris Fashion Week last month. And it’s now our favorite runway to red carpet fashion faceoff. Why? Because Kendall Jenner, 20, wore the head-turning design that inspired Moore’s custom creation.

Moore, 55, skipped the bold color gowns she’s known for in favor of a black lace corset Chanel gown featuring a structured top, embroidered straps and a silk tulle underskirt inspired by the spring/summer 2016 Haute Couture Collection. She completed the look with a whole lotta Chopard bling including a 45-carat diamond bracelet, 12.67-carat diamond earrings and a 14.89-carat cushion-cut emerald ring.
What was noticeably missing from the look? The futuristic winged eyeliner and Star Wars-style buns that were originally seen on Kendall and the rest of the models on the PFW catwalk. But we have a feeling Moore still made the Fashion God (that would be Karl Lagerfeld!) very, very proud.
