For years insurance company MetLife has been associated with the image of Peanuts character Snoopy. Now, they have teamed up with designers and celebrities to create one-of-a-kind Peanuts-inspired clothing to be auctioned for charity. The auction is running in three waves, with new designs being added every ten days through the month of October. Such items as this Isaac Mizrahi couture Charlie Brown dress will be available with bidding starting at only $10! How’s that for affordable couture? Expect more Peanuts-inspired frocks from Betsey Johnson, Liz Claiborne, Pamella Roland, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Heatherette, Jason Wu, View co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Elisabeth Hasselbeck andProject Runway‘s Laura Bennett just to name a few. All the proceeds from the auction will benefit Dress for Success, a non-profit organization which promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Check out all the designs and place your bid at ebay.com/snoopyinfashion.
