Of all the high-profile Paris fashion shows, Chanel usually gives us the most to discuss. Whether it’s sneakers on the models, a supermarket-themed set or surprising model choices, creative director Karl Lagerfeld knows how to get people talking. And this week, his Haute Couture show was no different.

First up: The always-buzzy front row. This time around, Lagerfeld enlisted pals Lily Collins (sporting a new haircut to go with her floral cropped sweater and sparkling striped pencil skirt); Jared Leto (no haircut, but his noteworthy chaps-adjacent pants and shell-pink suede boots definitely had us intrigued); and current face of Chanel Kristen Stewart (also showing off a brand-new haircut, which you may not have noticed due to the sheer harem pant/brief/crop top ensemble she selected).
Also attending (but not pictured): 50 Shades of Grey‘s Dakota Johnson, wearing an all-leather look (Christian Grey would be proud!) and Nina Dobrev — plus Baz Luhrmann, who directed the upcoming Chanel No. 5 ads. Notably absent: Luhrmann’s muse Gisele Bündchen.
But really, who was looking at the front row when so much was happening on the runway? Kendall Jenner made her return to the Chanel runway — and showed her powers of transformation — in a full-length plaid tweed column with feathery sleeves, glittering embellishments and a flipped-forward, majorly teased ponytail.
Joining her on the runway for the final look of the show: A pregnant bride in a truly gorgeous wedding gown with baroque embroidery on the cape and buttons down the front. (And our favorite part? Flat sandals for both! Let’s hope that trend takes off).
