You may not be able to vote on Best Actress or Best Picture, but the Academy of Motion Pictures & Sciences is asking for your opinion on fashion this time around. In the “Oscars Design Challenge”, seven up-and-coming American designers are vying to have their original evening gown worn by one of the Awards escorts during the show’s telecast on February 22. The competing designers include Moire Conroy from New York, Alan Del Rosario from Los Angeles, Sam Kori George from Chicago, Marianne Kooimans from Los Angeles, Maria Pinto from Chicago (a favorite of Michelle Obama), Nicolas Putvinski from New York and Robert Rodriguez from Los Angeles. Voting begins today at 3 p.m. PT through 5 p.m. PT on February 17 at Oscar.com. The winning design will be announced during the live arrivals show that will air on ABC beginning at 5 p.m. PT on February 22. Cast your vote now!
