Bid on Dresses From 'Mad Men' To Benefit Lung Cancer Research

Banana Republic may have just launched a Mad Men-inspired collection, but ’60s lovers can now get their vintage fix with actual dresses from the hit AMC show! Mad Men‘s producer, Lionsgate, has joined forces with Auction Cause to host the first official Mad Men charity auction to benefit the Lung Cancer Program at City of Hope. The 10-day eBay auction begins August 12 at 7pm PST and features vintage ’60s furniture and props from the show’s Sterling Cooper ad agency, as well as three iconic dresses worn by Mad Men‘s leading ladies—including the metallic brocade dress worn by Bobbie Barrett for a night out on the town with Don, a teal evening gown worn by Betty at the Stork Club, and a green frock worn by Joan in the famous lawn-mower episode. “This auction offers Mad Men fans an exciting new way to connect with the series while helping to support City of Hope’s important work in research and treatment of lung cancer,” said Sandra Stern, Lionsgate’s COO of TV. While we wouldn’t advise wearing these looks to work, it would definitely be fun to have an official Mad Men dress for your next costume party! —Jessie Goldberg
