Alison Brie's Wedding Dress Might Be from Net-a-Porter

Updated

Despite what her high maintenance, eternally peppy characters would have you believe, Alison Brie is surprisingly down-to-earth, at least judging from her most recent interview with Yahoo Style. While the upbeat attitude is still very much in place, the SoCal-native seems otherwise super laid-back, after all, how many brides-to-be do you know who would be perfectly content to wear a dress they just bought from Net-a-Porter on their big day?

Online shopping for your wedding dress is already the most relatable thing we’ve heard a celeb say in regards to their pending nuptial ceremonies probably ever, but if you needed further proof Brie and fiancé Dave Franco have the realest relationship in the biz,  the former Community star gushed, “We don’t go out of our way, we just don’t flaunt it […] I just met that person that I was like, ‘Well, I’m really in love with you and would like to grow old with you.’ I actually think it’s much more romantic when two people are like, ‘Oh, I could go either way on marriage, but I want to marry you.’”

But back to that whole buying your wedding dress from a website thing. Brie confessed to the site, “I’m not very bridal, instinctually […] marriage never really interested me, I guess because I was very focused on my work. I wasn’t sure if I really saw the point to it. I bought a dress on Net-a-Porter, and I’m like, ‘Maybe I’ll wear that.’” If the How to Be Single actress really has her heart set on an e-commerce find for her big day, we have a couple of apropos suggestions. The off-the-shoulder Valentino cocktail dress could be a fun, flirty choice, while the strapless Roksanda would be a timeless, yet super modern option. The embroidered Talitha maxi would be perfect for a backyard boho ceremony, and finally, the wraparound Cushnie et Ochs dress would be totally sophisticated, but still sexy. Clearly, we could do this all day, so if you still need help picking out that perfect betrothal ensemble, feel free to give us a call anytime, Alison.

What do you think of Alison’s potential wedding gowns? What style dress would you love to see her in on her big day?
