Sports Illustrated unveiled its three cover models on Saturday night and while two of the names — UFC fighter Ronda Rousey and model Ashley Graham — may be more familiar to the wider public, the third cover star may be a bit more unknown. So, aside from being a Brigette Bardot look-alike and stunningly beautiful, what is there to know about model Hailey Clauson? Read on to find out!

1. Her Photo Was at the Center of a $28 Million Lawsuit with Urban Outfitters
In August 2011, Clauson’s parents sued Urban Outfitters for over $28 million, saying that a t-shirt bearing a photo of Clauson sitting provocatively on a motorcycle featured a picture that was used without her consent. According to the lawsuit, Clauson and her parents claimed that photographer Jason Lee Parry sold the “blatantly salacious” photo to clothing line Blood Is the New Black to be printed and sold in Urban Outfitters stores.
Clauson, who was 15 at the time the photos were taken, and her parents claimed that they refused to consent to the use of the images because they felt they were inappropriate. The lawsuit was eventually settled in February 2013, according to Law 360.
2. And That Wasn’t Her First Time Facing a Scandal
Diane von Furstenberg, Oscar de la Renta and DKNY found themselves in hot water in the fall of 2011 when Clauson walked their shows at the age of 15. The problem? The CFDA had just passed a new rule banning runway models under the age of 16. (And von Furtsenberg was even president of the CFDA at the time.)
Clauson brushed off the minor scandal in an interview with Fashionista earlier this year, saying, “[The CFDA] had changed the age and I didn’t know,” she says. “I was just working. But yeah, it was a bit of a controversy.”
3. Sorry Guys, She’s Taken (by Another Model)
Clauson is currently dating fellow ridiculously good-looking model Julian Herrera. The chiseled hunk is also a personal trainer and boxing instructor at Overthrow NYC. And if you watch his Instagram videos, you probably do not want to mess with him.
Bonus: Herrera gives Clauson training tips, as evidenced by this video of her doing “duck walks.”
4. She’s a Proud Dog Mom
Clauson’s Instagram is full of adorable photos of her rescued pit bull, Mahala. “My beautiful pit bull, Mahala (who is a rescue) is the most incredible animal (I think she’s a person), everyone should rescue if your looking for a dog or a cat,” she wrote last year. “Pit bulls always need homes and they are honestly the most loyal and sweet creatures.”
Could you argue with that face?
5. Her Instagram Account Is Totally Mouth-Watering — If You’re into Junk Food
Clauson may have the perfect model body, but that doesn’t mean that she is only eating celery sticks and drinking lemon water. This girl seriously loves her pizza (with ranch dressing!) and other delicious comfort foods.
We think it’s only a matter of time before Clauson becomes a household name.
