Leave it to a chimpanzee and a tiger cub to teach us the real meaning of friendship. The Samutprakarn Crocodile Farm and Zoo residents pushed their differences aside as the ape lovingly bottle-fed the baby beast. And we can’t help but drink up all that cuteness.

THIS LITTLE PIGGY
Some little piggies go to market, some little piggies stay home, and some just head straight into our hearts and stay there forever. We’re forever squealing over this photo of a strawberry-hugging micro-piglet from England’s famous Pennywell Farm, where swine are specially bred to be extra, extra small and friendly.

EYE SEE YOU
Feeling blue? Just take a look at Daisy the tiny tabby kitten’s eyes, and let us know if photographer Ben Torode’s blue-eyed muse has the same instant-happy effect on you, too.

WHERE TO, SEAL?
Now that’s one adorable backseat driver! This 6-month-old seal pup took shelter from the stormy Dumfries, Scotland, weather inside a ferry terminal employee’s car, wiggling his way from the vehicle’s trunk to the dashboard. We actually think he was just hoping to hitch a ride somewhere more tropical, but either way, Smartie the seal is really wheel-y cute.

AWW LA CART
Getting pushed around never looked this adorable. After Joey the orphaned 2-week-old kitten was taken in by a cat with three 8-week-old furbabies of her own, the impossibly small ball of fluff was treated to a sweet ride by one of his adopted brothers.

KISS OF APPROVAL
Normally, watching two lovers pack on the P.D.A. leaves us more nauseous than enamored, but we make an exception when that acronym stands for prairie dog affection. A Prague Zoo visitor captured the intimate moment between the characteristically shy animals, who pushed their trademark caution aside to kiss, cuddle and, dare we say, remind us that true love totally exists.

We’re all about cute overload, but this might even be too over-the-top (literally!) for us. Baby chicks and tiny hats? Thanks, photographer Julie Persons, for changing our lives, one fuzzy feather at a time.

This basketball M.V.P. may just blow the cute competition out of the water. Literally! Eddie, a 15-year-old sea otter living at the Oregon Zoo, plays basketball to combat his elbow arthritis. “He’s definitely got game,” said Jenny DeGroot, the zoo’s lead sea otter keeper. And he’s definitely got good looks, too.

Even if you didn’t find your pot o’ gold on St. Patrick’s Day, we felt pretty lucky when we stumbled upon this micro-pig in a green top hat picking up a party essential: a pint of Guinness. We’re going to need to see some form of I.D. from this hoofed honey, who also hails from England’s Pennywell Farm.
