Twenty-five kittens, including these pint-size American curls, appear in the new book Kittenhood: Life-size Portraits of Kittens in Their First 12 Weeks, photographed by Sarah Beth Ernhart. “As I lay on the ground to photograph my subjects at their level, the sweetness of each kitten would get me every time,” she says. It’s a tough line of work, but somebody has to do it!
