“I feel so lucky,” he wrote Friday. “This dog is incredible. Everything I’ve taught him he’s applied within two days Genius animal!”
Before he gave him a forever home, Hough, 27, fostered the pup (originally named Romeo), and he chronicled EyBoi’s road to adoption on Twitter.
“Took him for a run not sure I want to give him back,” he wrote last Tuesday.
These days, Hough’s dog sits, stays and has even mastered the classic paw shake. But like the ballroom training Hough leads on TV, owning a pup isn’t all fun and games.
“Now just have to work on him not dropping a duces downstairs .. Ha,” he wrote.
