June is Adopt-A-Shelter Cat month and it’s our mission to help felines everywhere find a place to call home. Today, we’d like you to meet Jules, a 4-year-old white and orange male who has really come into his own since being rescued by the Brother Wolf Animal Rescue of Asheville, N.C.
Earlier this year, Jules was found running around an apartment complex, alone and afraid. The rescue group took him in and placed him with a foster family, with the hope that he’d learn to open up.
It turns out there was a sweet kitty underneath all that fearfulness. “His ‘mom’ helped him come out of his shell to reveal the sweet and social boy he truly is,” says volunteer Jackie Teeple.
Though he’ll always be a cautious feline, Jules is more than ready to cuddle with a person who loves him. If you think he’s the companion for you, contact the Brother Wolf Animal Rescue at (828) 505-3440.

Adopting a pet is an amazing experience – and a big decision! Before bringing a pet into your home it’s important to consider your family circumstances and do your research on breeds.
