Have you bought anything you loved lately? In the PeopleStyle offices, the answer to that question is usually “Yes.” We love to share our absolute can’t-miss picks in our gallery, What We’re Loving Right Now — and now trainer and TV star Jillian Michaels is sharing the workout gear she adores.
Jillian Michaels, fitness expert and creator of FITFusion.com (which now has an app!): “I love the following brands when it comes to fitness gear: Koral, Onzie, We Are Handsome, Pheel, and a throw back to a classic like Adidas. These days I’m all about the crop midriff, body suits and leotards (yeah, I said it), a fresh take on the old school track jacket, and always a classic capri pant with a fun print!”
Jillian Michaels is the former star of The Biggest Loser and a fitness pro with her own books, DVDs and exercise website, FitFusion, which you can now download on the app store. Follow her on Instagram and Twitter for even more updates!
“Neck scarves are the new choker.” “I’m not a huge fan of prints.” “The crazier the braid the better.” These are all Kendall Jenner style-isms, that some of us have come to live by. And as expert Kendall outfit observers, we’ve noticed the supermodel is pioneering a new street style trend: DIY cut-up T-shirts. (See photo above.) What’s the reason behind the look? Does she in fact, do it herself? We got all the scoop direct for the source — Kendall’s stylist, Monica Rose.
“The cutting of the shirts just recently started because whenever we’re in fittings and we’re in the moment, and I feel like something needs to be cut, I’ll literally take out my scissors and start cutting,” Rose told PeopleStyle at the opening of the Six:02 shop in New York City on Monday. “I’m like, ‘Keep turning, keep turning, keep turning.'”
Rose added that another reason she’s been so scissors-happy lately stems from her love of the “peekaboo” trend.
“I think it also came from having such cool bralettes and really cool undergarments, that I kinda wanted a peekaboo of it,” she shared. “And who wouldn’t wear a crop top if you had Kendall Jenner’s body? On some [she’s doing them herself], but most fittings we do cuttings.”
Ready to take a pair of sheers to your clothes, Rose approves, as long as it will make you feel confident.
“If you have it flaunt it. I think it’s whatever you feel comfortable doing with your own body,” she said. “And obviously if you can do it, then why not? I’m not comfortable wearing crop tops — but I think it works for a lot of my girls and a lot of girls who have that same body shape and want to show off their amazing abs. I don’t wear tight dresses either, and that’s what I put my clients in all the time. I like to live vicariously through them.”
Another one of Rose’s clients, Kylie Jenner, has already started cutting her vintage tees to show off her cute bra collection. Does this mean Kim, Khloé and Kourtney are next? We’d bet a Kimoji hat that the answer is yes.
No Rhea didn’t forget to put feathers on, this is her look.
The nudie cutie patootie is a parrot with Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease. The virus at the heart of the disease attacks the feather follicles, beaks and claws of affected parrots. Over time, the disease causes progressive feather loss and malformation of the beak and claws.
All of that sounds like bad news, but Rhea doesn’t let it slow her down. Instead of hiding her bare body, the Boston-based bird is a proud Instagram spokesbird for fellow parrots suffering from the disease.
She flaps, she chirps, she dances, she talks, she does all the things feathered parrots do without missing a beat. Rhea’s optimistic attitude, tiny pink body and precious smile have earned her over 23,500 followers, who often celebrate the bird for stepping out without clothes on.
As Rhea reminds us, she is in a pretty enviable position:
A video posted by Kim Kardashian Snapchats (@kimksnapchats) on
Kim has been documenting herself enjoying the home on her snapchat. In an intimate dispatch from her fluffy white bed, yesterday she said, “Just waking up to the most amazing Airbnb. Thank you guys so much for this complimentary stay here in New York. Obsessed.”
Later the same day, she showed off the spectacular city views from one of the sunny terraces. “You guys, Airbnb hooked us up. You have to see this view . . . Look! ” she says, giving a peak at her urban surroundings with a spinning selfie.
In yet another video, Kim shows off a professional looking makeup and hair studio. “Airbnb even got me my own glam room,” she says. “You guys, this place is so insane.”
Kim is not the first KUWTK star to take Airbnb up on a free stay. Kourtney recently spent a family vacation in a stunning $50 million home on Nantucket, and Kendall and Kylie Jenner got hooked up with a beachfront party pad in Turks and Caicos.
Maude Apatow may be off to college, but there’s one lesson she still has yet to learn: How to take care of her spray tan, a true rite of passage in Hollywood. (Where is Kim Kardashian when you need her?)
The 18-year-old daughter of Leslie Mann and Judd Apatow shared a photo of herself on Instagram Tuesday, showing off her splotchy chest from a seemingly worn off spray tan. And she’s clearly not thrilled about the uneven look, which she’ll have to sport for her first days of college. Apatow let us in on her frustration by captioning the shot, “Spray tanning nightmare pt. I lost count. I’m about to start college!”
But she’s not alone, because even the finest of Hollywood’s stars have been in her shoes. Earlier this summer, Chrissy Teigen also had a spray tan debacle, when she woke up with her entire body imprinted on her sheets with tan pigment.

And Kim Kardashian told Teigen about a spray tan slip-up that she had with North, when she breast-fed her without realizing she was getting pigment all over her face.
So there you have it, Maude. It could be worse.

“When it comes to what’s in my fridge, I always try and keep it fresh, simple and clean,” the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, 35, shared on her website and app. “I’m really dedicated to my Atkins diet right now so it’s all about staying healthy and lean,” she says.
The reality star always has very specific items in her refrigerator that “are great for snacking and keeping me energized throughout the day.”
“I am literally obsessed with Snapple’s Diet Peach Tea,” says Kardashian West. “It’s so refreshing and perfect during this hot summer!”
She’s also a fan of Organic Prairie Turkey Breast. “Sliced turkey is one of my fave snacks to keep in the fridge because it’s a great source of lean protein,” says the mom-of-two.

Kardashian West also likes to snack on string cheese. “String cheese is one of my all-time fave healthy snacks, since it is filled with protein and calcium,” she says. “I love to eat it with sliced turkey. It’s also the perfect on-the-go snack!”
“I’m not super into the whole ‘juicing’ craze, but Pressed Juicery’s fresh drinks taste amazing and make the perfect snack!” she says. “I’m currently into the Charcoal Lemonade, which is rich in vitamin C. I swear, when I drink it, I feel cleansed and energized throughout the day.”
Kardashian West’s final fridge essential is her daily Bio-K Probiotic. “I love that it keeps both my digestive and immune system balanced!,” she says.
