MELANIE'S LIVING ROOM
"When I walked in, I couldn't believe it. It was beautiful," Griffith tells PEOPLE of her modern New York City spread. During her recent renovation, the actress decided to go with a color palette of black and red because "it's elegant and wild at the same time. It's got more pizzazz." But don't expect the room to stay the same for long – it sounds like she has a few more ideas. "I don't think it's completely finished yet," she shares, "but it's a happy place."

"This is the East Coast Playboy Mansion," says Jackson of his 50,000-sq.-ft Connecticut mansion (formerly owned by Mike Tyson), which houses a strip club, indoor nightclub and grotto. He made sure to keep his family in mind when designing rooms like the formal living room, referred to by the rapper as "my grandmother's room. When she'd come here, that would be where she'd want to stop and sit. The only picture in there is of me and her."
